GLOW PATCH NOTES
New Features
- Glow's Visual Basic dependencies have been removed; the application now runs entirely on pure C#.
- Extensive accessibility improvements have been implemented to enhance the experience for visually impaired users. Assistive technologies such as screen readers can now present content more accurately, consistently, and clearly while navigating within Glow.
- The "Used Disk Space" feature has been added to the Disk section. With this feature, you can now see how much space is being used on the selected disk. Admittedly, this update is somewhat overdue; however, it has finally been integrated into Glow and is now available for use.
- The DISM and SFC Automation Tool has finally been brought up to the expected standard. Thanks to the updated reporting system, detailed information is now provided at the end of the process regarding which command performed the repair or at which stage an error occurred. In cases where no repair is needed, a "No Issues Detected" notification has been added. Additionally, all operations executed via the Command Prompt (CMD) can now be monitored in real time through the interface without requiring a console window. It is also compatible with Microsoft's latest-generation update for the "sfc /scannow" command.
- The loading algorithm for the Installed Drivers and Installed Services sections has been improved and finalized. It now delivers very fast loading performance even on systems with a large number of drivers and services.
- The processing algorithm of the Memory Test Tool has been updated. It now performs more stable and accurate memory tests.
Bug Fixes
- Issues caused by asynchronous conflicts in background tasks and rare errors occurring during application shutdown have been resolved. The shutdown process has been optimized for a more reliable workflow.
- A bug that caused the "Registered User Account" field in the Operating System section to appear empty on some systems has been fixed. If it cannot be detected, it will now display "Unknown".
- Various issues related to RAM calculations in Glow have been resolved.
- A bug in the TSNaturalSortKey algorithm that produced incorrect sorting results in certain languages has been fixed.
Changes
- Unnecessary .NET Framework dependencies within Glow have been removed, reducing system load and eliminating unnecessary resource usage.
- Across Glow, the resources used to read total, available, and used RAM values have been updated.
- The ordering of features in the Operating System section has been reorganized to ensure a more accurate and structured presentation.
Removed Features
- Unnecessary, non-functional, and low-value content has been removed from the Operating System section of Glow. As a result, the section has been refined to deliver simpler, clearer, and more focused information.
- In the DNS Test Tool, the non-functional "Custom DNS Test" feature has been removed, making the tool more reliable and easier to use.

New Features
- Support for Windows 11 26H1 has been introduced.
- The Export module has been completely reprogrammed. Thanks to the new flexible selection system, you can create reports that only include the sections you need. In addition to the existing TXT and HTML formats, fully compatible Markdown support has been integrated for modern platforms.
- The DISM and SFC Automation Tool has been improved. It now clearly reports which command performed repairs and which commands returned errors after the process completes. Error-checking mechanisms have also been enhanced, providing more advanced detection capabilities. All operations previously executed through the CMD window are now fully accessible directly through the interface.
- The System Version feature in the Operating System section has been improved. On Windows 10 systems, Glow can now detect whether the device is enrolled in the ESU (Extended Security Updates) program.
- New features have been added to the Operating System section, including Windows License Duration, Activation Server, Activation Verification Server, and a button to enter Recovery Mode.
- A BIOS Menu Access feature has been added to the Motherboard section. If the system is installed in UEFI mode, pressing the button will restart the computer and automatically open the BIOS/UEFI menu.
Bug Fixes
- The issue that caused TS Preloader to freeze when the loading progress reached 80% and prematurely start Glow after the last update has been fixed. Additionally, numerous minor processing errors were corrected, improving performance and stability. It now operates smoothly without issues.
- An issue causing the Windows Activation Channel feature in the Operating System section to return incorrect results on some systems has been fixed.
- A bug in the Export section where the file format selection box did not update option texts after changing the language has been resolved.
- An issue in the DISM and SFC Automation Tool where the timer could occasionally freeze and skip two seconds has been fixed.
- The TS Custom Controls module has been updated to version 26.4, including various improvements and bug fixes.
Changes
- When generating export reports, the current date is now automatically appended to the end of the file name.
- The module responsible for dynamic button width has been improved. It now performs more accurate scaling and calculations across different button types.
- Various updates and refinements have been made to the language files.

New Features
- Glow's reading, processing, and memory management infrastructure has been optimized; all sections now load up to 60% faster, memory usage has been reduced by 20%, and the application has been stabilized to operate with an average memory consumption of 50–60 MB.
- TS Preloader's boot time has been improved by 60%, allowing Glow to start significantly faster. In addition, for new settings introduced via updates, missing configuration keys are now automatically detected and added to the existing configuration file if they are absent or were not created for any reason.
- The disk infrastructure has been redesigned. Disks that were previously listed on a partition basis are now displayed as a single entry per physical disk, with multiple partitions consolidated under the same disk. BitLocker status is presented in a unified and summarized form by considering all partitions, and manufacturer detection has been made more reliable. With these improvements, disk section performance has increased by 75%.
- The CPU section has been completely reprogrammed. Multi-processor support has been added, along with various modernization improvements. Active core count display has been introduced, and L1/L2/L3 cache calculations have been made more accurate for hybrid architectures.
- A detailed DirectX support summary has been added to the Graphics Card section, clearly displaying all supported DirectX versions and the maximum supported DirectX level, along with support for multiple GPUs of the same model.
- The Feature Experience Pack version information has been added to the Operating System section, allowing installed Windows feature and experience updates to be displayed more clearly.
- The Cache Cleaning Tool has been improved; icon and thumbnail cleaning has been expanded, a safe Explorer restart has been integrated, and the overall process has been made more stable.
- The Bluetooth Information Tool has been optimized; thanks to the restructured PowerShell infrastructure, adapter detection and analysis time have been accelerated by up to 70%.
- A Debug section has been added under Settings in the top menu. When enabled, a log folder is created within the Glow directory; logs can be viewed, deleted, or exported to the desktop as a ZIP file. Logs are never automatically uploaded or transferred to any remote server. This feature does not contain personal data, is enabled by default, and can be disabled optionally.
- Multi-language management has been updated; when missing translations are detected, the system automatically falls back to English default values.
Bug Fixes
- Cross-process errors that occasionally caused crashes during Glow's startup have been resolved; the application now starts in a more stable and clean manner.
- The TS Theme Mode Helper module has been updated; operating system integration has been improved, and handle leaks and resource management issues have been fixed.
- All issues causing stuttering, brief freezes, and sudden jumps in second-by-second updated data across all sections have been fully resolved.
- Excessive uxtheme.dll calls that caused white flickering during startup in dark mode have been eliminated; UI rendering has been stabilized.
- Critical issues on Windows 10 that caused stuttering and a slow-motion effect while dragging windows have been fixed; window movements are now smooth.
- In the Disk section, issues related to duplicated multi-partition disks, incorrect disk selector entries, incorrect type counts, missing BitLocker status, and synchronization problems during disk changes have been fixed.
- In the Graphics Card section, VRAM inconsistencies on systems with multiple GPUs of the same model have been resolved.
- In the Operating System section, an issue that prevented the informational messages of BSOD action buttons from updating when the language was changed has been fixed.
- All tools within Glow have undergone a comprehensive maintenance process, during which numerous issues were identified and resolved. As a result of these improvements, all tools now operate more efficiently, stably, and accurately.
- An issue causing an extra trailing blank line when saving the configuration file has been fixed.
Changes
- The settings management infrastructure in the TS Modules library has been improved; settings keys and container structures are now updatable and re-orderable, and module naming has been aligned with established standards.
- The DNS address update applied to the Network section in Glow v26.3 has been reverted; due to Windows manual DNS priority behavior, the structure was optimized and previous issues were resolved.
- Second-by-second updated data in the Operating System section (such as system uptime and runtime) has been improved to provide more accurate results and a cleaner presentation.
- In the Disk section, capacity calculation, disk type detection, and detail presentation have been improved; information is now more accurate and readable. Visual blocks in the Disk Distribution area have been updated to use a rounded design.
- The Graphics Card selection box now distinguishes multiple GPUs with the same name by displaying identifiers such as #1 and #2.
- When Privacy Mode is enabled, the Monitor Serial Number information is now hidden.
- In the Battery section, when the Battery Type information is detected as “Li-Ion,” it is now automatically translated into the selected language.
- The page navigation algorithm using arrow keys has been updated. The Down and Right arrow keys now navigate pages from top to bottom, while the Up and Left arrow keys navigate from bottom to top. Additionally, cyclic navigation support between the first and last pages has been improved.
- With this release, a modern Panel component has been added to the TS Custom Controls library.
- Windows 11's rounded corner design has been integrated into the TS Preloader, About, and Screen Overlay windows, providing a more modern appearance.

New Features
- The Bluetooth Information Tool has been developed. It can now detect almost all manufacturers.
- The Wi-Fi Password Viewer has been completely revamped. Instead of selecting Wi-Fi networks one by one, you can now easily view all networks stored in the system by listing them in a table view. Double-click any row to instantly copy the password for that network to your clipboard. Additionally, the button below has been updated to allow you to export all saved Wi-Fi passwords as a text document.
- The System DNS 1 and System DNS 2 features have been added to the Network section. These features allow you to view system DNS addresses that have been subsequently modified by the user, and IPv4 is detected as the priority. It also supports both IPv4 and IPv6. Additionally, you can easily check whether the DNS Over HTTPS (DoH) feature is active!
- The automatic adapter selection algorithm in the network section has been developed. Previously, adapter selection was based on the manufacturer name, but now it is based on whether the connection is active or not. Additionally, when both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections are available simultaneously, the system is configured to prioritize the Ethernet connection.
- The display of all connection speeds in the network section has been improved. When the connection speed exceeds 1000 Mbps, the speed information is now displayed in Gbps.
- The network section's reading and processing algorithm has been improved and now loads 15% faster.
- The USB section's read and processing algorithm has been improved and now loads 30% faster.
- The Installed Drivers section's read and processing algorithm has been reprogrammed and now loads 50% faster.
- The Installed Services section's read and processing algorithm has been reprogrammed and now loads 75% faster.
- An algorithm for changing pages using the left and right arrow keys has been developed. According to this, pressing the left arrow key on the first page takes you to the last page; pressing the right arrow key on the last page takes you to the first page. This creates an infinite loop between pages, enhancing functionality.
- Our in-house developed TS Custom Controls Library has been updated to version v26.2, gaining significant enhancements. It now offers improved button designs, expanded ComboBox features, and new custom form control integration.
- All checkboxes in Glow now display a theme-color-coordinated appearance when hovering over dropdown menu items. This feature was specifically redesigned using the TS Custom Controls module.

Bug Fixes
- A processing error that occasionally caused the day and month values in the Driver Date feature in the Network, USB, and Audio sections to switch places has been fixed.
- In the Bluetooth Information Tool, various errors that prevented the detection of uncommon brands have been fixed, and the tool has been optimized to run more stably.
- The error that prevented page switching with the arrow keys when interacting with an item in the content area has been fixed.
- The Anti Aliasing error that caused all buttons to appear jagged has been fixed. They now appear smooth.
- The error that caused all checkboxes to flicker when hovering over them has been fixed.

- A new Windows CA 2023 Certificate Compatibility feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature specifies whether your current Windows version is compatible with the Secure Boot certificate of the Windows CA 2023 release.
- A new Windows CA 2023 Certificate Error Status feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature displays any errors that occur during or after the installation of the Secure Boot certificate associated with the CA 2023 release.
- A new Windows UEFI CA 2023 Support feature has been added to the Motherboard section. By checking the Windows CA 2023 information stored in your motherboard's NVRAM, this feature indicates whether your system will be able to continue operating with Secure Boot after the Windows UEFI CA 2011 certificate expires in June 2026.
- A new Computer IP Address feature has been added to the Network section. This feature displays the IP address assigned to your computer by the modem or a similar network device.
- A new Gateway IP Address feature has been added to the Network section. This feature displays the IP address of the modem or network device your computer uses to access the internet.
- An Open Gateway Interface Page button has been added to the Network section. This feature automatically opens the management interface of the modem or network device your computer is connected to in your web browser.
- The Primary DNS and Secondary DNS fields in the Network section have been enhanced. For example, when using 1.1.1.1, the output is now displayed as 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
- The DNS Test Tool has been improved. NextDNS support has been added, and the table view has been simplified.
- The DNS Test Tool has been further enhanced. The two providers with the lowest latency are now highlighted and displayed in a separate section.
Bug Fixes
- A rendering issue has been fixed that caused the checkmarks of selected items in the top menu to appear distorted and blurry at high DPI levels. Checkmarks are now displayed clearly and sharply at all DPI settings.
- An issue has been resolved where clicking the Check for Updates button while there was no internet connection caused the application to enter a Not Responding state.
- A bug has been fixed in the Operating System section where the informational tooltip failed to appear when hovering over the Preview Wallpaper feature.
- Parsing errors in the Installed Applications section that caused some application icons to be missing have been resolved. The icons of the vast majority of applications can now be detected correctly.
- Errors in the search engines of the Installed Drivers, Installed Services, and Installed Applications sections have been fixed. When the search box is empty, the list now automatically returns to the top.
- Various issues in TS Preloader have been fixed, and it has been optimized for improved performance and stability.
- A visual glitch that caused a flash/flicker effect while opening the Wallpaper Viewer has been resolved.
- A bug has been fixed where the application icon in the title bar was not displayed after exiting full-screen mode with F12 while the Dead Pixel Repair Tool or Dynamic Range Test tools were active.

New Features
- In this version, we made a series of accessibility improvements for visually impaired users. Glow will now respond much more accurately when Screen Reader or other reading tools are enabled. This allows visually impaired people to use it more easily.
- We optimized Glow to make it more efficient and reduced power consumption. Thanks to these improvements, we decreased CPU usage and increased performance. Glow now runs more efficiently with less processing power.
- Starting with Glow version v25.16, it is now compiled with Visual Studio 2026's modern compiler. This brings the latest security updates, bug fixes, and performance enhancements for .NET Framework 4.8.1.
- The x86 (32-bit) architecture has been completely removed from Glow's source code. As a result, Glow now operates more stably and faster.
- We conducted extensive work to increase startup speed on Windows 11 systems. As a result, Glow's startup speed on Windows 11 improved by 40% and is now closer to Windows 10 levels.
- An Active Power Plan feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows the system's currently active power mode.
- An Active Power Plan GUID feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature displays the GUID number of the system's active power mode.
- A Display Timeout (Plugged In/Battery) feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows how long it takes for the display to turn off both when plugged in and when on battery power.
- A Sleep Timeout (Plugged In/Battery) feature has been added to the Operating System section. This feature shows how long it takes for the computer to enter sleep mode both when plugged in and when on battery power.
- A "Processor Thread Count" feature has been added to the Processor section. This shows the number of threads the processor is currently running.

- The SFC and DISM Automation Tool has been improved. It now displays the progress of all executed commands as a percentage.
- A timer has been added to the SFC and DISM Automation Tool. This allows the tool to dynamically display the runtime and report the total duration at the end of the test.
- The System Identity Creation Tool has been improved. Identity generation now starts automatically as soon as the tool opens, allowing you to focus only on saving and comparing steps for faster operation. Additionally, timestamps have been added to report names to prevent confusion between reports created at different times of the day.
- The Cache Cleaning Tool has been improved. All cleaning paths are now processed as system variables, allowing dynamic automatic detection even if users change their directories.
- Bluetooth 6.2 support has been added to the Bluetooth Information Tool. Additionally, we improved and updated the reading infrastructure on Windows 11 systems, enabling nearly twice as fast read performance.
Bug Fixes
- A rare issue that caused Glow to fail to locate the folder containing language files on some systems and special environments has been fixed.
- In the Graphics Card section, an issue that caused monitor information to become mixed up on systems using multiple monitors has been resolved. Information for each monitor is now displayed correctly.
- In the Motherboard section, a problem that caused the BIOS Update button to open the URL incorrectly in some browsers has been fixed. The link now works correctly in all browsers.
- An issue that caused the RAM Speed feature in the Memory section to appear inconsistent has been resolved.
- A bug in the Quick Access Tool that prevented the Tab key index order from being rebuilt after buttons were rearranged based on the interface language has been fixed. The Tab key now navigates in the correct order.
Changes
- The Operating System section has been simplified and reorganized. Some features were combined, and others were optimized. The section now has a clearer and more organized appearance.
- The Motherboard section has also been updated in a similar way. Features were merged and optimized, providing a cleaner and easier user experience.
- The appearance of the Used RAM Amount feature in the Memory section has been simplified.
- The icon sizes in the left menu were slightly reduced to create a cleaner look.
- The top bar content was proportioned to be aligned both to the left and right, ensuring a balanced layout.
